Our Leisure Time

Enjoying a Hike

In our leisure time we really enjoy a variety of activities, especially outside festivals or activities.

Watching the sunset from the porch or deck is a favorite of ours! We love to spend our evenings just relaxing on the porch (especially in the spring/summer time) and talking about our day. We look forward to having a little one to share in our conversations!

We love company — being surrounded with good friends and family is what we absolutely love. During the summer, we absolutely treasure memories made at family picnics or holiday gatherings. Making s'mores with friends over our fire pit is also always fun!

Since we live close to the beach, we really enjoy taking day trips there once in a while. We also enjoy long weekend trips with family and friends to the mountains or the beach.

Since Ryan grew up in the Boy Scouts, and became an Eagle Scout, hiking is definitely a must! Hiking in the mountains in North Carolina is just beautiful. There are so many great places to explore and enjoy nature around us.

Our Family Dream

Building Gingerbread Houses With Cassi's Family

When we think about becoming parents, there are so many things we look forward to!

Some of our dreams for this child are to bring them to church and teach them about Jesus. Outdoor activities, such as hunting, fishing, gardening, farming, and camping are other favorite hobbies of ours that we can't wait to share with this child.

We want this child to know the value of hard work, but to also enjoy life, and to have fun.

We cannot wait to start family traditions every holiday and to start family vacations every year.

We want this child to grow up independently and make their own decision, but we will always be there to help guide them in the right direction.

We cannot wait for this child to grow up in a family home with so much love and happiness! This child will grow up with loving grandparents, cousins, and so many aunts and uncles, as we both have large families and tons of friends.

Our biggest dream of all is to love a child unconditionally.

Our Pups - Dixie, Riley & Willie

Our Pups

We love dogs! We have three wonderful hounds; Dixie, Riley and Willie. They're all very lovable in their own ways. They're great at cheering us up, comforting us, and are always so loyal and happy. Going for daily walks is a favorite for them, probably the highlight of their day! When we take them for walks, its great for us because we get exercise as well! They definitely all love people also. Since Cassi worked at a vet for several years and grew up on a farm, dogs, cats, and any animal holds a special place in her heart. These three are really a special part of our family and we cannot wait to bring them another human to love! Whenever we travel to visit family, we bring them with us, so they get to play with all their dog cousins! We just love them to pieces.

Our House and Neighborhood

Our Home

We live in a rural area, but not far at all from other towns or cities.

Our home consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 living rooms (one in the front and one in the back). It has 2 full bathrooms and a WONDERFUL big, front porch - OUR FAVORITE! There is also a deck in the back. There is a pretty big front and back yard, which we absolutely love!

Our area is a wonderful place to raise a child. There is a Christmas Tree Lighting in our small town — an event we look forward to making an annual family tradition with our child. Since we do not live far from other towns, going to BBQ fests is also a favorite!

The few neighbors we do have are so wonderful, and are very supportive of us and our decision to adopt, especially since one of our neighbors have adopted a child themselves! There are also additional children that live down the road that this child could grow up with.

There is also a wonderful playground in our town that we look forward to taking this child to. This would be a wonderful place to meet up with you!

Our Extended Families

Cassi's Family

We both have big, loving, fun families. Cassi's family lives in Pennsylvania and has a working family farm, which is how Cassi grew up and learned to love. Ryan grew up in Maryland, which is where his parents are. His siblings live in other states.

Both of our families love having family gatherings, whether it be just family or family and friends. With Ryan's family, we love to play board games or slip-n-slide kickball (our favorite!) Cassi's family loves going to tractor pulls or working and hanging out at the farm.

Ryan's Family

We do travel a lot to Maryland and Pennsylvania to visit our families, especially during the holidays. We cannot wait to share all these joyous occasions with a child and start our own family traditions.

We both have agricultural backgrounds, and we love to garden! We are looking forward to bringing a child home to Cassi's family farm to see the animals and to enjoy the outdoors.

Raising this child up with unconditional love, laughter, and wonderful lifetime memories will be our biggest dream come true!

From Us to You

For starters, we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering us for adoption. We hope our profile has helped you to get to know us a little better!

We have been married for 7 years. We met in Pennsylvania, where we got married in a small town on a working farm. Ryan works in agriculture and Cassi currently works at a Dermatology office. We both have a wonderful life together and always enjoy being in each others company. We never are at a loss of words and Ryan is always the one to make others laugh!

Ever since we got married in 2015, we have wanted to start a family. Having a big family was always a big dream of ours, since the both of us have big families. It was heartbreaking finding out we could not have our own biological children, but after praying and discussing multiple options, we decided that adoption would be the best decision! We are so blessed to be on this journey and cannot wait to share our lives with a child!

Our dream is to raise a child to be independent, have Christian values and morals, have respect for others, and know the value of hard work. We both grew up working on farms, so agriculture is a big part of our lives. Since both of us have agricultural backgrounds, we cannot wait to share/teach that way of life with a child. It will be such a joy when we can take a child for tractor rides or hay rides!

We would absolutely love to share photos via texting or emails if you would like. Scheduling meetings or visits will also always be welcomed. We want you to watch your child grow and see who they become. Being open with adoption to this child is something that is very important to us. We will always make sure this child knows who you are and how much you love them.

We realize how difficult of a decision this must be for you, but we will always make sure this child knows who you are and how much you love them. This is such an amazing journey to be on with you and we are ecstatic about our future. If you would like to set up a meeting to get to know us even more, we would without a doubt love to set up a meeting.

Again, we just want to thank you for considering us as potential parents for your child. We will be praying for you as you have a difficult decision ahead of you. We admire your strength and endurance. For a long time, we have been waiting and looking forward to expanding our family. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers during this journey and we look forward to hopefully meeting you!

Sincerely,

Ryan & Cassi
